Itemized List Required: A written list of the contents must be included with each box for customs clearance purposes.
How does the shipping process work, and what is the expected timeframe?
We operate using a Less-than-Container Load (LCL) shipping system, sharing a 40-foot shipping container that departs monthly from the Port of Hamburg to the Port of Beirut.
We believe in complete transparency with our clients: sea shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Here is a realistic overview of the process: when we announce a container for a specific month, we spend about two weeks at the end of that month organizing the goods and preparing the container. Once the vessel departs Hamburg, the actual shipping journey begins, taking between 21 and 25 days under normal conditions. This is followed by the customs clearance stage at the Port of Beirut, which can take anywhere from two to three weeks.
Consequently, the total duration—starting from the vessel's departure—is typically six to eight weeks under normal circumstances.
Certain factors beyond our control may affect schedules, such as the postponement of the sailing date if the container is not fully loaded, changes to the vessel's route, or delays at the Port of Beirut. If you require a specific, guaranteed delivery date, we are currently launching an air freight service—please contact us for details.
What can we not guarantee?
We do not provide cargo insurance for shipments, nor do we guarantee specific delivery dates for sea freight. We recommend obtaining private insurance when shipping high-value items.
What happens when the shipment arrives in Lebanon? All our shipments arrive at our warehouse in the city of Tyre, southern Lebanon. From there, the recipient has two options: either pick up the shipment personally from the warehouse for free, or have it delivered to any address in Lebanon—from North to South and from the Bekaa to Beirut—for just $5 per box.
